Halloumi Gyro
Gyros

Overall Score (/50):

Whatever you do, don’t add the ‘yoghurt & mint sauce’. It tastes like someone mixed toothpaste with industrial waste. If you dodge that gloopy atrocity, you’ll enjoy a fairly tasty gyro. Exactly how tasty will somewhat depend upon whether the chips stuffed inside your wrap are freshly cooked or have lingered a while under a heat lamp. The halloumi is good, and there’s a generous amount of it, but you are paying £12 for this so it’s really the least they can do. Maybe ask them to go easy on the onions as they’re raw and pretty fiery – those sitting around you will thank you. Or maybe just get a macaroni pie instead.
