Macaroni Pie

Hampden Park

Overall Score (/50):

31

Hampden Park

The macaroni pie walks a precarious, fine line between deliciousness and utter inedibility. Get the right balance of partly over- and underdone and you have something that will lift the soul on a cold night at the rugby. Miss the mark even slightly and the end result is grim slop. Hampden Park can’t get anything right, so its macaroni pie is predictably disgusting. Just another of the many ways that it takes the concept of watching rugby and turns it into a depressing mockery of a normally enjoyable experience.
