Vegan Paella
House of Tapas
Clydesdale Cricket Club
Overall Score (/50):
44.5

Club cricket grounds in Glasgow being used as makeshift venues for second-tier T20Is are not synonymous with excellent Spanish food. But, based on House of Tapas’ incredible vegan paella, perhaps they should be. It’s a generous portion of perfectly flavoured and seasoned rice and vegetables served piping hot. It’s refreshing not only in that it’s such a departure from the bland fare so often served at sporting events, but also in that includes a slice of fresh lemon that adds a fresh citrus zing to the whole affair. It’s perfect for a rare sunny afternoon at the cricket.
