Vegetable Samosa

If you’re going to call your concession Samosas & Beer and you’re not making the beer yourself, you’d better get the samosas right. Sadly, my vegetable samosa was the culinary equivalent of a 30-car pile-up. £5 bought me a triangle of pastry so tough I wondered whether there was some kind of special tool I needed to crack it and reach the interior. My teeth just about managed the job, to my immediate regret. The sludgy, miserable filling did nothing but leave me imagining all the better ways I could have used that fiver. A supermarket meal deal samosa would genuinely have been nicer, and they’re universally horrible. Spend your money elsewhere.
