Vegetarian Fish & Chips

Ordering the veggie option at Take the Bait’s food truck caused more drama than expected. One of the servers had to procure my vegetarian sausages from the main kitchen inside the stadium, which took quite some time. Sadly, they were not worth the wait. Peas and tiny cubes of carrot held together in a damp clump by indeterminate, brownish matter do not a passable imitation of a sausage make. However, the chips were very good and the portion size was extremely generous. Just the kind of warming stodge you need on a cold, rainy afternoon just before Christmas when the home team are getting absolutely battered by far superior opposition.
